Hey there!

Hey there! It's been a hot minute since I've put pen to paper (or fingers to keys, in this case). I'm currently navigating the twists and turns of adulthood as a first-year ophthalmology resident – no easy feat, let me tell you!

I've been toying with the idea of starting a personal blog for about five years now. The spark was lit one night when I was watching 'Julia and Julia', popcorn in hand and freshly washed hair. It was the story of Julia's personal blog documenting her culinary journey that really struck a chord with me. I've always had a soft spot for journaling, but the thought of sharing my own stories and adventures with the world? Now that was an exciting prospect.

In the months that followed, I delved into the world of blogging, setting up a free account under a pseudonym. But, as these things sometimes go, the blog eventually faded into the background and I stopped writing.

Fast-forward a year, and my new passion for long-distance running led me back into the blogging world. But alas, that too fizzled out.

"So, what's different this time?" you might ask.

Well, I can't say for sure, but I think using my real name makes it feel a bit more 'official'. Plus, there's this persistent itch to blog that I just can't seem to shake!

As for the direction of this blog, I'm keeping an open mind. I plan to document my journey through various interests – maybe a book review one day, a medical tidbit the next, and perhaps some productivity tips to wrap up the month.

I'm a lifelong learner, and I'm excited to explore some fascinating ideas through this blog. Here's to the journey ahead!
